Well yes its official I got an IT job… yes yes i know…. i’m the man.

But seriously its sweet, good pay and best of all i’m not working in a bar, you have to be really weired to work in one for long periods of time.

I’ve also moved to my new place which is cool and the people are also cool however i think this place is a moth sanctuary or something because they always seem to be everywhere plus we be getting a cat called Charlie which is a girl cat, i got no problem with a cat just as long as it doesn’t sit on my face when i’m sleeping or jump on the keyboard when i’m playing an online game.

If anyone knows of any good PC games that dont cost an arm, leg and most of my vital organs then let me know.

Well i’m off to find a new bed, i lot some of the wheels in the move…. how i ask?

Ahoy Tweek, just face it I won the shoot out and stopping your comic just so you don’t have to draw your defeat … Its a shame old boy.

Just a few quick points,

1 - Beer is not the solution to mans problems, it may be the cause but it is a long way off being any kind of solution.

2 - Who ever said its better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at was clearly drinking beer at the time and had clearly not been in love, it hurts like hell …… it just … hell

3 - I still would like to know what a peachmouse is? Any ideas?

4 - …. Why are things not fair? I know its the way things are but there must be a reason for it. No one expects life to be easy otherwise we’d all be rich well educated and there wouldn’t be any townies, yet we all expect things to be fair and equal but they seldom are …. Why? Is it greed for money? For power? nothing lasts forever so why ….
Star Trek maybe science fiction but most of the stories are in some way a social commentary, some episodes are about the different ideologies in the world e.g. Communism, capitalism, the many faiths, some episodes are about the the use of force instead of negotiation, several have been about genetic manipulation and it ramification socially, but after watching these episodes I always feel better about life because it shows that in at least the minds of the writers and the immortal vision of Gene Roddenberry, that man can change, adapt and that there may be a decent future for us all, its a shame these people aren’t in control of the world, who knows things could be better off.

ps the first interracial kiss on TV was in Star Trek, it also brought us mobile phones, disk drives and countless other things, granted it avoids certain things but that because the TV executives are too worried about offending people and seem to think that making people think is a bad thing, I know the science on itsnt always perfect (why can you hear ships explode and move?) and that the cheese is sometime too much but Star Trek and Firefly are the only TV programmes I have ever seen and are ever likely to see (Fox and American TV executives are quite possibly the dumbest people on Earth) that challenge and to some extent discuss some of the very things that we hold most dear.

pps I realise that perhaps other TV programmes do that but being English and no satellite TV I haven’t seen an abundance of programmes that aren’t news, old films, bad soap operas or American sitcoms, you get the occasional thing but those two shows have stuck with me.

Ok, well I think that’s enough for now,

I tip my hat to thee, and I bid thee good day,

Life is like watching Star Trek: The Final Frontier. A complete and and utter stupid waste of time that can be better spent painting in the rain.
